Leslie Busenitz | Fourth Grade

Leslie Busenitz grew up in Protection, Kansas, and attended Trinity International University, where she received a B.A. in Elementary Education. While teaching 5th grade in the Augusta school district, she earned her Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist from Fort Hays State University. After three years of teaching, God called her to move to Thailand to teach 3rd grade at a school for missionary kids at Grace International School. It was a wonderful year in Thailand, then she moved home to marry Ted Busenitz, and they both began teaching at CCA soon thereafter.

She loves getting to teach reading & language arts to fourth graders at a school that is Christ-centered and upholds high standards of academic excellence. Mrs. Busenitz lives on a farm outside of Newton with her husband. Her favorite verse is “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
