Philosophy of the EXCEL Program:
Education at Central Christian Academy is founded upon the conviction that God is the author of all truth and the Creator of all life. This eternal, triune God has revealed Himself through the Bible, His infallible and inerrant Word.
Mission Statement – EXCEL Program
Recognizing that all men are created in the image of God, but understanding that God has gifted each of us differently, the Central Christian Academy EXCEL Program will teach and equip students to reach his/her maximum academic potential in the curricular areas of Language Arts and Math.
Vision for EXCEL Program Instruction
Students enrolled in the Excel Program at Central Christian Academy will acquire knowledge in the curricular areas of Language Arts and Math through differentiated curricular options, instructional approaches, flexible instructional pace, and resource materials.
Student Goal of the EXCEL Program
Students will use their knowledge and comprehension skills to practice the higher levels of thought prescribed by Bloom’s taxonomy.
The use of technology will be incorporated into the structure of this program.
The students will participate in educational activities, which capitalize on core knowledge, extend student learning, and apply basic and advanced academic skills.
Fees:
Excel programs are completely supported by an extra charge to the family.
