History and Enrollment
Central Christian Academy is a ministry of Central Christian Church and was founded in 1982. Currently, we have more than 440 students enrolled in kindergarten through 8th grade. In the fall of 2018, we will open a high school (beginning with 9th grade) and are excited about extending the CCA ministry to older students.
Central Christian Academy is an accredited member school of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the largest association of Christian schools in the world today. Our accreditation with ACSI helps ensure the school is spiritually, academically and operationally meeting predetermined standards of excellence that are objectively evaluated on an annual basis.
The average class size is 15-18 students per class.

Spiritual formation is a key focus in all areas of the Academy. Weekly chapel services and daily Bible instruction is only part of the CCA experience. Spiritual disciplines such as prayer, reflection, application of scripture, and service to others are incorporated throughout the program. All courses are taught from a biblical worldview, and student growth is regularly assessed. Mentoring students to grow in their faith is part of the CCA culture. Teachers are intentional about fostering relationships that serve in partnership with the home to develop Christ followers.
Honors, Excel, and Explore
Central Christian Academy recognizes that all children are created in the image of God and that each student has been gifted differently. CCA is dedicated and equipped to meet a variety of learning needs. The Academy offers accelerated classes for students with a high aptitude for language and math. Additionally, there are enrichment programs and competitions for students in a wide range of areas such as language, math, writing, science, history, technology, art, and music. CCA also offers on-site language arts and math therapy to assist students with learning differences that is direct, systematic, and explicit. In addition to the pullout instruction, the Explore program creatively meets the needs of different learners in the classroom through paraeducator and classroom support services.
Following the completion of the enrollment process for each child, families seeking tuition assistance for the next school year may apply online by clicking the FACTS link here and signing in as a new user. All applicants will be considered for tuition assistance based on financial need and the families’ record of biblical stewardship/giving. All assistance awarded is based on funds available at the time of application. All applications must be verified by FACTS before May 1st of each year. Applications received after May 1st will be processed only if funds become available to support them. Tuition assistance will not exceed 50% of total tuition.
Central Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. CCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition assistance, athletics, and other school-administered programs.
