CHAPEL

Each week at CCA, our school community gathers for chapel to worship God together. We seek to give Him the glory He deserves, study His Word, and grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

Our chapels are intentionally Christ-centered. Through Scripture reading, prayer, Christ-exalting music, and biblical application, we want students to see that Christianity is more than simply learning how to live a good or moral life. The gospel calls us to know and trust Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, to rest in His saving work, and to live as His people for the sake of His Kingdom.

Because students are at different stages of their development and walk with the Lord, our chapel gatherings are designed with their particular level of understanding in mind:

  • Elementary (K–6th Grade): Elementary chapel focuses on laying a strong foundation in God’s Word. Students are taught core biblical truths, praise God through music, and learn about who God is and what He has done.
  • Secondary (7th–12th Grade): Secondary chapel focuses on growing in personal devotion to Christ and learning what it means to serve His Church. Students have opportunities to participate directly in chapel by leading worship, delivering announcements, and serving in media production. Our secondary Bible teaching follows a three-year cycle through the overarching story of Scripture, helping students see how the Bible tells one unified story of God’s redemptive work that finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

MENTORING GROUPS AT CCA

Beyond chapel and Bible classes, secondary students participate in weekly Mentoring Groups focused on intentional Christian discipleship. Led by Christian adult staff members, these small groups provide a consistent place for students to apply God’s Word to everyday life, encourage one another in Christ, and grow together in spiritual maturity.

Our staff seeks to point students to Jesus in every area of life. Through prayer, Scripture reflection, and honest conversation, Mentoring Groups give students opportunities for encouragement, accountability, and spiritual growth. In these small groups, students are known and cared for by trusted adults who challenge them to follow Christ faithfully and live for the glory of God.
