In Elementary school (grades K–6), students develop a love of learning in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment with low student-to-teacher ratios. Curiosity is cultivated, confidence is built, and each child is equipped with a strong foundation spiritually and academically.

The foundation established during the elementary years extends far beyond academics. Through intentional biblical teaching, character development, and strong study habits, students are equipped to navigate the spiritual, social, and academic opportunities that await them in junior high school, high school, and beyond.
We recognize that choosing how and where to educate your child is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to partner with parents during these formative years, helping students build a strong foundation of faith, character, and knowledge that will serve them for a lifetime.
Many Christian schools talk about academic excellence, which usually focuses on the abilities of the top students in the school. At CCA, our goal is to provide academic rigor for all of our students, both for high achieving students and for those who struggle, by challenging them beyond their current abilities to greater knowledge and learning.
In grades 1-6, students attend a specialized program called WIN which stands for “What I Need“.
WIN is designed to provide personalized English Language Arts instruction in small group settings. Students are strategically grouped with peers at similar skill levels to received targeted support or enrichment for a dedicated 40 minutes, four times per week. In this supportive and engaging environment, students build confidence and strengthen literacy skills.
Students attend age-appropriate field trips aligned with what is being taught in the classroom. From exploring the Kansas Cosmosphere during space learning, to the Sedgwick County Zoo during animal studies and many more in between, CCA elementary students have exciting opportunities to discover God’s creation during the field trips.
Learning extends beyond the core subjects. Elementary students experience music, PE, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), art, library, and technology classes weekly.
