David Crow | Physical Education

David Crow is a graduate of Wichita State University and spent eleven years working in the Wichita Public Schools before coming to CCA.  Mr. Crow has been the Physical Education teacher for the elementary and middle school physical education programs for twenty-four years.

Personal Philosophy of Education:  “I believe that Christian Education is what we should be teaching all students, including those in the public schools.  It is of the utmost importance that we approach our teaching from a biblical standpoint.  Our lives should be examples of a positive Christian walk to our students.  We should not just teach facts, but how to live the Christian life.”

The goal of our program is for each student:

  • to learn skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities
  • to be physically fit
  • to participate regularly in physical activity
  • to value physical activity and its contribution to a healthful lifestyle

In addition, we want our students to have a proper biblical perspective of what God wants us to do with our bodies as stated in I Corinthians 6:19,20 “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own, you were bought at a price.  Therefore, honor God with your body.”
